DESCRIPTION:The staple diet of a good drama school! Our Speech & Drama course is suitable for children from five years upwards the course is fun\, interactive and highly educational. The dual combination of Speech and Drama within this course provides children with transferable skills such as effective communication\, self-expression\, performance skills\, critical thinking and a more active imagination. The performance aspect such as drama & mime help improve spatial awareness\, motor skills and overall creativity. The speech element of the course improves articulation and enunciation.\n\nWhat is Speech and Drama?\n\nSpeech is communicating with one another\, and drama is choosing an interesting way to express it. Speech and Drama builds or develops confidence\, self-esteem\, social skills and conversational ability. It also teaches empathy\, providing ·opportunities for children to experience the world from perspectives outside their own. Speech and Drama lessons are not meant just for reserved children but for the exuberant ones too.\n\nDrama is a wonderful way through which they can channel their energies to find innovative methods of creating and expressing! They promote free expression of children's imagination and creativity. The performance aspect of drama\, mime and improvisation help improve spatial awareness\, motor skills and overall creativity on a purely educational level. While the study of text\, emotions and characterization help develop confident stage performers. The speech element of this course improves articulation and enunciation. Through poetry & rhymes students of all ages will improve their speech & understanding of language.
