Preschool Drama for kids

Drama Bunnies Our Pre-school Speech & Drama course is suitable for children who are in their last pre-school year or who have just started primary school. This course focuses on fun drama activities that develop the imagination, positive social skills and self-confidence. Through stories and short rhymes young children will develop clear speech and improve their communication skills. Creative drama encourages movement, sensory skills and overall physical confidence.

G.S.D. ‘Drama Pre School classes include tuition in drama, movement and dance. Children work on specially selected poems and stories, as well as their rhythm and co-ordination through games and drama activities.  Drama games are played to enhance confidence, poetry and storytelling are used to develop performance skills and vocal technique. As well as some free play, allowing children to relax, let off steam, develop social skills such as concentration, co-operation and encourage the development of their imagination along with developing motor skills and teaching self -expression.

Our Pre-School children really do learn ‘skills for life’ which are very important at this young and impressionable age. Syllabus content is thoughtfully designed each term to engage children’s imagination and ensure that the emphasis in the learning process is on enjoyment. Our aim is to help your child with their self-development, This aim is achieved through a highly developed, original drama programme. Each lesson is carefully planned and undertaken by fully trained drama teachers. Our drama classes include introductory activities, speech, verbal dynamics, creative movement, mimes to music, language development, structured improvisations, scene starters, mini-scripts, parent day presentations and end of year productions but above all else, the most important part of having your child attend a drama school is for kids to have an huge amount of fun playing, and enjoy the process!
